TEXT FROM THE SUN 18 DECEMBER 2007 BY PETRA GROUP TO ALL MALAYSIAN THINK

Does poverty have a face?
Is it dark?
Is it yellow?
Is it olive skinned?
Is it an ethnic issue?
Or an economic one?
A cultural one?
Or a religious one?
Are there no rich Malays
Are there no rich Chinese
Are there no rich Indians
Are there no poor Malays
Are there no poor Chinese
Are there no poor Indians
Shouldn’t the question be: “ Are there no poor Malaysians?”
Can we even begin to solve the issue of poverty
When we camouflage it with the issue of race?
Can we see clearly when we choose only to look at things through a prism?
Can politicians alone be expected to solve This issue?
Can we claim to be a community?
Let’s try to eradicate poverty.
But let’s start by loading into the mirror

PZ THINK AS I AM MALAYSIAN

organ donation

To all Malaysian,
Hai, I am sure that u all has been heard about Tee Hui Yi getting new heart. The news that had been shows us about important of organ donation. In fact, only 108000 of Malaysian had registered with National Transplant Registry (The Star, Oct 7). There is more we can do rather just mourning over the death of the one that we love, but we can always make a few other who are hoping to continue with their life happy. To all Malaysia, remember that we live in one nation and please don’t differentiate each other by the colour of our skin. What Hui Yi received is a great gift of Ramadan (YG, The Star, Oct 6).Muslim should not be hesitant to pledge their organs as this noble deed is in line with the Islamic teachings. Neither should Muslim be worried about their organs being donated to Muslim or non-Muslim. In teaching of Islam, to safe a life, the difference in the religion must not be a barrier.( Islamic Development Department Director General Datuk Wan Mohammad Sheikh, The Star, Oct 7).

Bagaimanakah reaksi anda apabila pembedahan orang tersayang terpaksa ditunda berkali-kali kerana hospital kekurangan bekalan darah/ organ tertentu? Tepuk dada, tanya minda
You can save others life. You can make a difference.
